The ICE CASTLES AT SILVERTHORNE ( http://www.icecastles.com/ ) are an unparalleled creation of walkways, illuminated ice formations, tunnels, and arches – made entirely out of ice and designed with the visitor in mind. These massive and dynamic ice structures are nearly 30 ft high, and collectively measure over 10,000 tons.
We will have a private photography session just for our group from ten a.m. – eleven a.m. We will be given another private session if we return in the evening. Check out the photo carousel on their website.
The plan is to meet at seven a.m. at the Safeway parking lot on 32nd & Colorado. We will carpool to Silverthorne from there. The drive will be approx 2.5 hours. Once we finish our A.M. shoot, we can grab lunch and hang out in Breckenridge or Dillon until dusk. Then we will return to the Ice Castles for additional images.
