Just recently going through the purchase of my first DSLR, I am one hundred percent sold on Canon. I looked at several websites that did side by side comparisons of photographs with the same lenses of the same content. When the images were small, they both looked crisp and there was no winner to be had. Of course you have to consider packing thirteen to fifteen megapixel in a tiny image will of course look great. The photo journals blew up the images so you could compare each photograph.
