3d Imaging Helps Cosmetic Surgery

Wyomissing, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) February 25, 2012

Dr. Benjamin Schlechter who specializes in augmentation in the Lancaster, PA, area, is now offering Vectra 3D imaging for his plastic surgery patients. This technology helps patients ease their uncertainty prior to a procedure by using digital imaging to create pictures of potential results.

?I?m always looking for ways to improve the surgical process and methods for helping women and men feel more comfortable with a proposed procedure,? Dr. Schlechter says. ?Vectra 3D imaging helps patients visualize what they may look like after recovering from plastic surgery procedures. This creates a more efficient consultation process and minimizes the guesswork associated with choosing the most effective procedure.?

Using three-dimensional pictures of a patient?s physical features, Vectra 3D imaging is able to capture small details to create an accurate digital image. Dr. Schlechter then uploads the image into Sculptor? software, where he is able to make small adjustments for his patients near Allentown. Liposuction and other cosmetic procedures can be improved through this technology.

?Vectra 3D imaging enables me to create images of what patients could look like after a procedure,? says Dr. Schlechter. ?Once a patient looks at the potential results, she or he is able to give feedback. From there, I can make minor adjustments to the plan to create the desired results. This back-and-forth discussion helps patients visualize how they can enhance their appearances, and it assists me by creating a more accurate picture of their likes and dislikes.?

Dr. Schlechter explains that most of the uneasiness from patients prior to surgery comes from a fear that their plastic surgeons in the Lancaster, PA, area don?t fully understand their desired results. Vectra 3D imaging helps relieve this fear by creating digital images that both the patient and the surgeon can see and agree on.

?Vectra 3D imaging is a great way for patients to create a more accurate picture of their potential results,? Dr. Schlechter says. ?Although this software is extremely advanced, it should be noted that variations in results can still occur. With this information in mind, patients can use this technology to feel more comfortable with surgery and more assured about getting beautiful and natural looking results.?

Dr. Benjamin Schlechter is a board-certified plastic surgeon at the Proserpi-Schlechter Center for Plastic Surgery (http://www.pscps.com/) near Lancaster, Penn. He offers a full-range of plastic surgery options for the face, breast and body, as well as many non-surgical procedures such as BOTOX Cosmetic and laser hair removal at his medical spa. Dr. Schlechter received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, and completed residency in general surgery at Case Western Reserve University and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He is affiliated with many professional organizations, such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Photobin Photo Scanning Helps People

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 20, 2012

With Facebook?s new Timeline rollout, PhotoBin photo scanning services help users display their early years on their Timeline. Over the last four months, users have continued to discover and test the new features. Even so, there is one feature users have not taken advantage of as much as expected; the ability to include life events that took place prior to Facebook?s existence. Profiles are no longer limited to current events, but include memorable occasions from a person?s past. Users now have the opportunity to share their entire life story from birth to present.

With the Timeline release, PhotoBin is offering a ?limited time only? discount on the popular ?Value Pack 200 Scanning Package? at $ 19.99 (regularly priced at $ 55). The Value Pack 200 enables customers to have 200 photos professional scanned for less than $ 20. Photos are scanned by PhotoBin?s trained technicians. Old print photos are transformed into versatile digital files — ready for Facebook?s Timeline upload.

?PhotoBin is on a picture scanning mission. We love your photos as much as you do. And we never send your photos out of the country. Your photos come to us, stay with us, and go directly back to you. Our slogan ?Scan once. Share forever,? is even more meaningful with Facebook?s new Timeline,? said PhotoBin Founder and CEO, Steve Weber.

Facebook introduced Timeline in September of 2011. Timeline serves as a new kind of profile page, one that visually aggregates everything a user has ever shared, liked or done on the social network and sites linked to it. Until now, using the Timeline was optional. Yet, word on the social media street is — users will eventually be called to upgrade to the platform.

With nearly 80% of Facebook users born before 1995, chances are they have traditional albums and boxes of pre-digital prints. The only way for these users to share their print photos on Facebook is to convert them to digital — either by scanning themselves or by hiring a professional photo scanning service like PhotoBin to do the work.
